Five pan sizes, two lids

Each pan in this set is made from titanium and finished with a hammered surface texture. No coating is applied to the interior, so food meets the titanium layer itself. The sizes run from 20 cm for eggs and sauces up to 30 cm for larger portions.

Why You'll Love It
• Material: titanium body with a hammered surface texture
• Set contents: pans of 20 cm (8 inch), 23 cm (9 inch), 25 cm (10 inch), 28 cm (11 inch) and 30 cm (12 inch)
• Lids included: one lid for the 20 cm pan and one lid for the 30 cm pan
• Uncoated interior: no PTFE or PFOA in the cooking layer
• Hob compatibility: suitable for gas, induction, electric and oven use

One set covers daily cooking from a single egg to a shared main course.

Shipping is free on all orders. Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days; delivery to the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada normally takes 6 to 15 business days in total, and 8 to 18 business days to Australia and New Zealand. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, in original condition and packaging. The cost of return shipping is borne by the customer, except where the item arrived damaged or incorrect. Hand wash with warm soapy water. Dishwasher safe but hand wash recommended. Use medium heat; titanium conducts heat quickly.

The Problem

Traditional Cookware Falls Short

Coated pans wear down with use, which is why they are usually replaced after a few years.

Coatings Wear Over Time

A non stick coating is a surface layer applied over the pan base. With regular use at high heat that layer wears down and can flake, which is why coated pans are usually replaced after a few years.

Utensil Restrictions

Coated pans normally come with the instruction to use wooden or silicone utensils. Metal spatulas and tongs can mark the coating, so the surface needs care during everyday cooking.

Uneven Heat Across the Base

A thin pan base heats up faster in the centre than at the edges. That difference in temperature across the surface shows up when you sear or fry at higher heat.

The By Kept Difference

Built from titanium

The materials and construction behind the cooking surface.

  • No PTFE or PFOA in the Cooking LayerThe cooking layer is titanium and contains no PTFE, no PFOA and no applied non stick coating. There is no sprayed surface film between the food and the metal.
  • Uncoated Titanium Cooking SurfaceThe cooking surface is titanium rather than a coating applied over aluminium. It has a textured hammered finish and is used with a small amount of oil or butter.
  • Suitable for Hob and OvenThe pan body and the riveted stainless steel handle are made to go from the hob into the oven. Suitable for gas, induction, electric and ceramic hobs.
  • Multi Layer BaseA multi layer base sits underneath the titanium surface and spreads heat across the width of the pan. The base is flat, so it sits level on induction and ceramic hobs.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about By Kept titanium cookware.

The cooking layer is titanium instead of a non stick coating applied over aluminium. It contains no PTFE and no PFOA, and there is no sprayed surface film. Food release depends on preheating the pan gently and using a small amount of oil or butter.

The cooking surface is uncoated titanium with a hammered finish. Underneath it sits a multi layer base that spreads heat across the width of the pan. The handle is stainless steel and is riveted to the body.

Yes. The surface is uncoated titanium, so metal, wooden and silicone utensils can all be used. On coated pans, wooden or silicone utensils are usually advised instead.

The pans are suitable for gas, induction, electric and ceramic hobs, and they can also go into the oven. The base is flat, which is what an induction hob needs in order to make contact.

Yes, the pans are dishwasher safe. Hand washing with warm water and a soft sponge is also suitable. Dry the pan after washing before you put it away.

Orders can be returned within 30 days of delivery, in line with our returns policy. The returns page sets out the conditions and the steps for sending an item back.

The weight differs per size and per model. The exact weight in grams is listed in the specifications on each product page, together with the diameter and the height.

No seasoning step is needed. Rinse and dry the pan before first use, then heat it gently and add a small amount of oil or butter before the food goes in.
